Automatic Rifle Series M with Drum Magazine | Toy Accessory for LEGO Figures

A Series M automatic rifle toy accessory with a drum magazine for LEGO figures. This listing is for a miniature toy accessory, not a functional firearm. Figure is not included.

Historical background of the real-world weapon

The original rifle was developed in 1965 specifically for airborne troops and armoured vehicle crews.

• Hungary: Used by the army, airborne units and border troops of the Hungarian People's Republic.
• Afghanistan: Supplied extensively to the Afghan National Army and police during the 2000s and 2010s. Its short barrel and suitability for close-quarters use also made it common among private military company personnel.
• Other conflicts: At various times, the weapon was supplied to or purchased by different formations in Angola, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Vietnam.
